What kind of design can you help me with?
If it's printed I can design it. Some examples of previous work are featured in the portfolio so please take a look.
What is the design process?
When you contact me to discuss a project I provide a quote for you to agree and sign. You then provide me a more detailed brief, including any text, images etc you have and would like to use in the design. I will provide a proof or number of design options within the timeframe discussed. You have an opportunity to provide feedback on the design / your preferred design and I will carry out any revisions requested.
Once you are happy with the final design I will prepare print ready or digital files and transfer to you or a chosen printer for production and use.
Can you use images and logo's from my website?
No. If you have existing images and logos you wish to use in your artwork they must be supplied in a high resolution .jpeg or .EPS format ideally Vector or 300dpi image. This will ensure the final printed artwork is sharp and not pixelated when produced.
Can you provide me the artwork in a format I can edit?
As a Graphic Designer I use the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software to produce high quality artwork. Programmes such as Microsoft Word or Powerpoint do not give the fine editing capability required.
Can I have a proof back today?
I always aim to provide artwork proofs promptly, Where possible I aim to provide an initial proof within 24 hours however fro more complex projects or in the case of logo design that time frame is not always realistic. When briefing a new project please allow as much time as possible to ensure sufficient time for revisions and amendments.
I don't live near you can I still work with you?
Yes of course. I have worked with clients across the UK and Ireland. I am happy to work via email and phone to discuss requirements and feedback. Please do contact me to discuss your project.
